I feel my new puppy Wellness dog food – dry and wet. She only gets a tablespoon of wet a meal, and half a cup dry. But I was wondering, since it’ll take us about two weeks to get through the can if not more, when does it go bad?
Forgot to say we have one of those pet food lids, the cheap plastic things you press over them.

go to small cans it can go off after a couple of days in the fridge, it might last 3 days at best
Keep the can in the refrig and keep it covered. It will be fine. Add a tiny bit of hot water to the mix. Your aim should be to get her on dry food only. At this stage, you could also go to the smaller cans of Mighty Dog you can get at Wal mart. The Gourmet is the best. They absolutely love it. You can use less than that, just the hint of the Mighty Dog in her dry food w/hot water will help her to eat more.

2 weeks is to long to keep it. So you don’t waste it, spoon it into ice cube trays, freeze then pop them out and store in a freezer bag in the freezer. That way the dog food won’t spoil and it is easy to just grab one per meal.
