I recently found a Pekingese dog and have no idea what to give her besides regular food. I’ve heard that they often have a sensitive stomach and can throw up after eating. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

if you are really worried about her stomach or if she starts throwing up the food, then I would enquire a vet about the issue…doctors always know best!!
unless you know about the breeding try a small bag of whatever food and see how she does. I use Purina dog chow and have never had problems.

After finding her, any type of dog food could upset her stomach. Its that way with all dogs when there food is changed. Try it, see is your dog can handle it. Give it some time since the first day she will get sick. Good Luck.

I don’t believe any commercial dog food on the market today is good or safe, doesn’t really matter what you pay for this. They are all made from things in the human food chain that we waste, but basically your dog is eating waste products. If you really want to have a happy, healthy dog you will make your own dog food. It’s qucik, easy and safe.
